Matcha cookies

Recipe from here
Ingredients
Plain flour  140g
Matcha powder  15g
Salt  just a pinch
Unsalted butter  100g (room temperature)
Granulated sugar  70g

Method
Combine sifted flour, matcha and salt.
Add into the butter and knead until it is slightly soft.
Add in the sugar, whisk until it turns light and pale.
Using a spatula, fold in the sifted ingredients.
Make 2 or 3 portions of dough form the mixture, wrap and shape into square sticks about 3cm in width and freeze for 30 minutes to 1 hour to set.
Slice into 1cm thick ( let it sit for awhile at counter if it is too hard or frozen).
Lay on the prepared baking pan with parchment paper, with good spacing in between.

note: sprinkle granulated sugar (if you like) on the dough before you bake. It will turn nice and crunchy when it is baked.
