Miso steamed buns

These are low in sugar, great for breakfast or a snack.  The texture is chewy and soft, oil free, egg free and packed with nutrinious oatmeal.  Not just that, it comes with a hint of mild sweet miso, absolutely beautiful...

Recipe: Cookpad

Ingredients:
Oatmeal  100g ( it may be rolled oats or quick oats, grinded)
Miso  2 tablespoons diluted with 3 tablespoons of water
Soy milk  100ml
Water 100ml
Castor Sugar  30g
Cake flour  100g
Baking powder  2 teaspoons

Miso diluted with 3 tablespoons of water
Oatmeal grinded "fine"

Miso, soy milk, water, sugar and oatmeal absorbs mixed in

Fold in sifted flour and baking powder, well combined.
Pour into the cups and get it steamed

These are really good

Method:
1.  Pulse the oatmeal fine in the food processor.  Set up steamer now.
2.  Mix miso, soy milk, water and sugar in a bowl. Add oatmeal and mix everything well to allow the water to absorb.
3.  Pour in sifted flour and baking powder, fold in the batter until all well combined.
4.  Fill muffin cup 80% full. When steam arises from the steamer, place the cups inside steam for 15 minutes on high heat.  Insert skewer and see that it comes out clean,
5.  Remove them out and let cool.  They will stay chewy and moist and not dry if cool in a air-tight container.
6.  Enjoy!

Note: You may store leftovers  in the freezer.
